On February 11, 2020, the Zegar Family Foundation (ZFF) awarded a $100,000 grant to Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP) as part of their Democracy Initiative. This ZFF initiative aims to increase voter participation through voter registration, education, and get out the vote efforts. Their contribution will allow CEEP to greatly expand their voter engagement efforts, strengthen campus partnerships, and add staff members nationwide. In 2020, CEEP plans to hire a total of 18 State Directors and over 320 Student Fellows to engage with 500 partner campuses.
“Through this generous grant from the Zegar Family Foundation, CEEP will be able to grow their on-the-ground efforts to increase electoral engagement on campuses,” said Campus Election Engagement Project’s Executive Director Amy Ludwig. “ZFF’s support and commitment to democracy and our organization will have a lasting, positive impact on students and we are incredibly grateful.”
