AmiDayne Nelsen is a 22 year old Native American woman enrolled in University of Nevada Las Vegas‘s Philosophy major with a law and justice concentration. She grew up in rural Nevada and have dedicated her life to giving back to her community. She decided to attend University to spread knowledge, support, and awareness to those in her community about the experiences women of color endure throughout their adult life, professional careers, and schooling. As a pre-law student she has taken it upon herself to become more involved in voting on campus, community outreach, and volunteering for events. She is extremely interested in being a part of the Civic Influencers team and be able to further the spread and outreach of awareness and positivity for students of color.
