Angela Quintanilla-Capawana is currently an incoming freshman at Duke University, hoping to study Public Health and Biology. She plans to get involved in her campus cultural and queer organizations, as well as Define America, Wind Symphony, and DDR. They are passionate about equity for not only their own communities, but for all who are marginalized and find Civic Influencers to be a supportive community of others who want just that.
Founded in 2008, Civic Influencers uses ongoing research, innovation and evidence-based voter engagement racial justice strategies, including organizing, advocacy and education for youth, immigrants, and Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Disabled and Youth of Color (BIHDYoC) for a more equitable and inclusive democracy.
