Candace Fant is from South Carolina, and is currently a rising senior at Guilford College in Greensboro North Carolina, double majoring in Public Health and Community and Justice Studies. She is a Quaker Leadership Scholar, Multicultural Leadership Scholar, and member of the Guilford Christian Ministry. She has a desire to serve and be an advocate for communities who have been denied resources, service, and equal rights. She also wants to be more educated on processes that achieve this.
Founded in 2008, Civic Influencers uses ongoing research, innovation and evidence-based voter engagement racial justice strategies, including organizing, advocacy and education for youth, immigrants, and Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Disabled and Youth of Color (BIHDYoC) for a more equitable and inclusive democracy.
