Malea Benjamin is a senior at The University of Alabama, double majoring in Communication Studies and Political Science on the Pre-Law track. She is actively involved on campus and within her community, holding multiple leadership roles such as Director of Engagement for the Student Government Association, 2023 Organizing Fellow for Woke Vote, Greek Ambassador, Director of Campus Outreach for UA Student Homecoming Board, member of Blackburn Institute, member of Vote Everywhere UA, and Leadership Fellow for her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is also a member of several honors societies including The XXXI, Anderson Society, Blue Key, and Mortar Board. Malea is interested in joining the Civic Influencers team because of her passion for empowering and mobilizing voters, and her desire to make a positive impact on the electoral process.
