William Navarrete Moreno is a Public Health student at the University of Colorado Denver, passionately advocating for healthcare equity and policy reform. Born to undocumented immigrants from Guerrero, Mexico, his personal experiences inspire his commitment to transforming the American healthcare system. As the founder of the student organization, Coalition for Health Advancement and Narrowing Gaps in Equity, a member of the Youth Advisory Board at Young Invisibles, and as a student researcher examing the impacts of anti-immigrant rhetoric on cardiovascular health, William actively works towards uplifting marginalized communities. Joining the Civic Influencers team, he seeks to empower others and create meaningful change in healthcare access for all, leveraging his unique perspective to build an inclusive, representative, and passionate movement.
