“You either care or you don’t.”

Many of us are waking up this morning to the news of the tragic shooting at Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing. We grieve along with our fellow Spartans for the 3 students that were killed and pray for the recovery of the 5 that are critically injured and the thousands that have been traumatized. 

This brings mass killings this year to 67.
January alone had 49 mass killings.

At Oxford High School, in the same area just over a year ago, a 15 year old armed with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, murdered four students and injured seven people, including a teacher. Some of the Oxford survivors are now enrolled at MSU. 

What kind of sick “Final Destination” are we thrusting on our younger generations?

“You either care or you don’t,” said  Congresswoman Elyssa Slotkin (D,MI 7), where both MSU and Oxford HS are located.
